Corporate History
Incorporated in April 1990, United Liquid Gas Company (ULGCo)
specialized in propane and butane supply. ULGCo purchased fuel from refineries
for resale to various propane retailers and end-users.
In November 1994, ULGCo purchased a 94.7% equity interest in the wholesale
division of PEG, Inc. dba Pacific Energy Group. Later, in March 1999, ULGCo
acquired the remaining outstanding stock of PEG, Inc. in a stock-for-stock
exchange.
In 2000, the Company adopted the trade name, United Pacific Energy, to provide a
uniform identity for the parent and its subsidiary.
UPE's principal sales/dispatch office is located in Reno, NV where David
Humphreys and Jim Weaver manage the day-to-day operations of the Company. All
accounting and administrative functions are maintained from the Auburn office
and managed by Sherie Werner.

Management
David Humphreys, President
With 28 years in the gas industry, David Humphreys brings with him a wealth of
experience in both retail and wholesale operations. From 1979 to 1985, David
worked for Cal Gas as a delivery driver, service man and retail plant manager.
From 1986 to 1990, David worked for Coast Gas in dispatch, personnel and sales,
learning all phases of wholesale operations. David founded United Liquid Gas
Company in 1990 and began wholesaling propane and butane in California, Arizona
and Nevada.
James W. Weaver, Vice President
With 33 years in the gas industry, James (Jim) Weaver worked as a sales agent
for Pacific Energy Group since its inception. In addition to working in both
retail and wholesale operations for Pargas and Petrolane Transport,
Jim worked in the family propane retail business starting in 1974.
Jim was the acting President of the Arizona Propane Gas Association
during 1989 and 1990. Previously, Jim had been acting
Transportation/ Wholesale Manager with PEG, Inc. until his promotion
to Vice President in November 1994. Jim was the President of the Nevada Propane Dealers Association in 2005/2006
and served a 2 year term.
Sherie Werner, Controller/CFO
Bringing 27 years in accounting experience, Sherie Werner (C.P.A.) began her
career with Arthur Young & Company. She has worked in private industry as a CFO
and controller for both public and private companies. From 1988 to 1992, Sherie
was the controller for Superior Propane (subsequently acquired by Ferrellgas), a
large independent propane retailer based in Nevada City, CA. She joined
PEG, Inc. in July 1993 and now serves as Controller/CFO for United
Pacific Energy.
